What is a BLEND?

A BLEND is a resultant product of the THE HYVVEBLEND SYSTEM. Just like a car production line produces various models of automobiles with different features and specifications, THE HYVVE SYSTEM produces a habitable product that comes in different models and has different features and specifications, we call these products BLENDS.

How much does a BLEND cost?

Between £2000 & £3000+ per ㎡ depending on finishing, ‘VITA’ specifications and location. The cost includes delivery & erection on site. There are no hidden extra costs with a ‘BLEND’ , it is like buying a car, you choose your model, you choose your finishing specification, you choose your ‘VITA’ specification, we then manufacture your ‘BLEND’, commission it at the factory, then deliver it to your chosen site, erect it and hand you the keys.

Can i design my own BLEND?

Yes you will be able design your own BLEND, we are in the process of developing an app that will enable a quick & easy way for people to design building products, know how much they cost & when they will be delivered.

Build accreditation?

BLEND’S are designed and manufactured in accordance with BOPAS off-site manufacture guidelines, we are in the process of applying for a formal accreditation.

What is VITA?

VITA is what makes a BLEND function autonomously. It is the piece of equipment which provides all the necessary utilities and services that enable comfortable habitation. The include the provision of power, water and public health, as well an overall building management system.

Different models/specifications of VITA?

Yes, VITA can either provide all the necessary utilities to enable off-grid habitation or supplement available utilities.

What is a HYVVU?

A HYVVU is a specific BLEND that has been especially created for the hospitality industry. It is a luxurious off- grid accommodation suite in the sky.

What does off- grid mean?

Via the plug in VITA unit, HYVVU can function autonomously. Electricity, heating, running water and waste management can all be undertaken without the need to be ‘plugged in’ to an existing utilities network.

Does it require planning permission?

The simple answer is yes, however all circumstances are different and unique. We will be able to provide a more comprehensive & definitive answer once we are aware of the intended location. If planning permission is required we recommend that we manage the process on your behalf. To date all applications we have submitted have been received extremely positively, by the relevant planning authorities and as a result permissions have been granted quickly.

Where can a HYVVU be located?

Due to its unique sub & super structural design HYVVU can be located almost anywhere. The only limiting factor is accessibility for the lorry and crane and even this can be overcome by the use of a helicopter for delivery and erection.

Can a HYVVU be placed on a slope?

Yes, HYVVU has been designed to be placed on uneven and undulating topography.

Can a HYVVU be moved?

Yes, because of its unique sub-structural design a HYVVU can literally be ‘unplugged’ from its foundations and then be craned to another location and subsequently ‘replugged’.

What size is a HYVVU?

The HYVVU unit comes in 3 sizes - HYVVU ONE @ 12.5 ㎡ & HYVVU TWO @ 25 ㎡ & HYVVU 3 @ 38 ㎡
